'Importance of Automation!'
That's it! Automation helps everyone!
In terms of Security Automation, I'm learning Ansible this time. It's my first time touching this subject so it is new to me, however, I'll try my best to absorb it and 'write it here so I can review it anytime!'
Anyway, before going back to the subject, what is automation?
Automation is tasks performed to reduce costs, complexity, and errors. (EC-Council, 2023). Automation can be anything! It could be single tasks, group tasks, or even complex orchestration of tasks.
Benefits? Of course I don't need to repeat tasks. Moreover quoted to EC-Council, Automation helps:
- Speed operations and development
- Improve security and compliance
- Improve agility and responsiveness
- Boost productivity and efficiency
